BERNI's

BERNI’s is a pop-up dining project celebrating the ‘Great British  Meal’ - prawn cocktail, steak garni with chips & Black Forest gâteau. Popularised by the Berni Inn chain, it was the most popular dining out menu in the 1980s. With proper good cooking & high-quality ingredients, it is a truly special meal.

The supper club project has only popped up once, but it went down a treat. I am on the lookout to do more kitchen takeovers / chef collaborations.

BERNI’s is based on a love of British food culture, classic dishes & impeccable hospitality. We use high welfare grass-fed beef, meaning the cows are about as happy as they can be (before the eaten part). The next menu will offer more plant-based alternatives.
